- The Roasted Maple neck is heat-treated to increase stability, durability, moisture resistance and tolerance of temperature changes.
- Heat-treatment provides a well-balanced attack and tone and a rich sustain. In order to achieve supreme neck grip comfort, the fretboard edge is finished with a smooth curve.
- The Stainless Steel frets are durable and long-lasting.
- The Ash body delivers a pleasant brightness and rich sustain.
- Delta pickups provide a crisp high-end attack, full, punchy mids, and a powerful, tight low end. This makes them an excellent choice for a wide range of amps and pedals, in both live and studio settings.
- The Ibanez Sonitech S Preamp boasts a meticulously tuned tonal character across the entire frequency spectrum. This circuit offers two selectable 3-band mid-range banks and a passive tone control for unparalleled versatility. The preamp is designed to deliver maximum flexibility and ease of use.
- Ibanez Aero-light machine heads feature keys made of Extra Super Duralumin, which significantly reduces the overall weight of the tuning machine while still maintaining durability and tuning accuracy. These extremely lightweight tuners help facilitate excellent instrument balance, which is essential for comfort during long gigs.
- The MR5S bridge has adjustable saddles for variable string spacing by +/- 1.5mm, answering every bassist’s specific string spacing needs.
- The EQ bypass switch (push/pull) switches between EQ bypass (Pull) or EQ on (Push).
- The Hexa Mid system offers players the flexibility to choose from two mid-range banks, each containing three distinct frequency points, for a total of six. Its exceptional versatility and user-friendly interface help players achieve their ideal bass sound.
